I was interested with this piece in particular, Andy, because teaching Communication classes is how I pay for my Medium account. :) You've put together a great vocabulary list here. I'd love to see you do a follow-up that addresses any similarities in grammar, syntax, stress, intonation, etc. I think too often people learn a lot of vocabulary from studying books about a language, only to find that when spoken it is much harder than they imagined!
